Inside the Vault – A Glimpse into the World of Physical Previous Metals, is an experiential session offering members a closer look at the role of precious metals in institutional portfolios. Members went on a guided tour held at The Reserve, to get a glimpse into how physical precious metals are stored, authenticated and managed, as well as the infrastructure underpinning investor confidence in bullion markets.

The session also examined the investment characteristics of platinum and gold, and the role of apolitical hard assets as potential safeguards during periods of geopolitical and economic uncertainty. Speakers also shared the supply-and-demand dynamics shaping precious-metals markets, Singapore’s position as a secure jurisdiction for storing hard assets, and how gold and platinum may contribute to portfolio diversification, resilience and long-term value preservation.

The session featured Weibin Deng, Regional Head of Asia Pacific at the World Platinum Investment Council; Gregor Gregersen, Founder of Silver Bullion; and David Han, Institutional Investor Relationships, APAC ex-China.
