IMAS Member Engagement Session

IMAS Member Engagement Session

2 Jul 2025

On 2 July, IMAS convened a focused engagement session with a selected group of fund managers to
better understand the operational challenges they currently face. The discussion surfaced a range of
concerns, including manual administrative processes, escalating data costs, and increasing
impersonation risks. These insights underscored a common priority across participants: the need to
enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and security within their operations.

IMAS remains committed to supporting our members by developing initiatives that address these
challenges and facilitate long-term industry resilience. Our ongoing and upcoming efforts include:

  • Offering CPD-accredited training courses at a subsidised rate of $50 (subject to eligibility
criteria met) to help firms upskill cost-effectively.
  • Expanding our FinTech Directory, which connects asset managers with technology providers
to identify and implement solutions to industry pain points.
  • Partnering with MAS MoneySense on a targeted anti-scam campaign, aimed at safeguarding
    fund managers and investors.
  • Developing our Climate Bot, incorporating global regulatory resources, FAQs, white papers,
and additional use cases contributed by members and partners.
  • Coordinating industry-wide utilities and “group-buys” for commonly required services to
    drive cost efficiencies.
  • Enhancing the visibility and accessibility of government grants through dedicated sharing
    sessions and curated online resources.

IMAS will continue to facilitate such engagement sessions to foster dialogue and collaboration
among industry stakeholders. Members who wish to contribute further by sharing operational
challenges or proposing solutions are encouraged to contact us at enquiries@imas.org.sg.
