IMAS has officially been endorsed by the Investment Performance Council of the CFA Institute as the local sponsor of the Global Investment Performances Standards (GIPS) in Singapore. Joining the ranks of key financial centres such as the United States, London, Sydney, Japan and Hong Kong, Singapore-based fund managers claiming compliance with GIPS will now be able to be assessed on a common platform globally.

Justin Ong has more than 14 years of experience, with extensive experience in dealing with specific issues in the investment management industry and sits on the Investment Management Association of Singapore’s Compliance Sub-Committee.

Justin leads the Singapore firm’s practice in AIMR-PPS / GIPS performance measurement and verification work. In this respect, he has spoken at several leading conferences in Singapore and Hong Kong on this subject since 2001.

JEROME CHUNG
Senior Manager – Investment Management
Industry Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong

Jerome Chung is a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong serving the Investment Management (IM) practice. He has over 8 years of experience within the IM industry and performs performance reviews and verifications for firms seeking compliance with GIPS across Asia Pacific.

Jerome is currently PricewaterhouseCoopers’ lead Senior Manager for the provision of investment performance management services across the Asia Pacific region. He is one of the founding members of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts GIPS Committee, and is currently coordinating with the Committee to bring awareness of GIPS in Hong Kong.
