The Climate Handbook

The Climate Handbook

The Climate Handbook is a comprehensive guide designed in collaboration with Amundi to support investors as they navigate the complexities of sustainable investing in an era defined by climate change and the global energy transition.

Structured across seven chapters, the handbook first establishes the financial materiality of climate change, outlining key risks, opportunities, and the importance of climate scenario analysis. It then offers practical guidance on developing robust investment frameworks that manage transition risks, integrate climate considerations into investment processes, and leverage stewardship and engagement strategies.

The handbook also addresses the critical areas of measuring and reporting sustainability data, exploring carbon metrics, climate risk indicators, and solutions to overcome common challenges. Recognizing that climate change intersects with broader sustainability issues, it further links climate action with biodiversity protection and the need for a just transition.

Through real-world examples from asset managers and asset owners, the handbook provides practical insights and tools to help investors develop and apply frameworks, better incorporating climate considerations into their investment strategies.

To enhance accessibility, a chatbot powered by Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM), the Climate BOT, was developed with AI Singapore, is available to assist users by translating the handbook into four languages: English, Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese
