The IMAS Regulatory/Legal/Compliance Roundtable is a biannual event where current and pertinent regulatory/legal/compliance issues affecting the investment management industry are discussed. The Roundtable serves as an interactive session for members to exchange their views and ideas.

Speakers from Rajah & Tann addressed key updates and implementation challenges on the Fair Dealing Guidelines, which included substantial changes in its scope and coverage, and shared useful insights to the commonly raised questions on the re-write of the OTC derivatives reporting rules. The event concluded with interactive breakout sessions, where participants engaged in deeper discussions on the topics, and thereafter sharing the group’s collective input for the benefit of all in attendance.
