Key Duties and Responsibilities
The person in this role will be part of the IMAS Secretariat team to support the operations of IMAS in the key areas of industry upskilling, membership growth, industry events and programs. The candidate is expected to perform the following:
iLearn (IMAS Education Platform)
- Product manage the IMAS iLearn registration platform to ensure datedness of the course listings and facilitate as an account manager for B2B/B2C enrolments into the platform and partner’s Learning Management System.
- Track progress of learners of the enrolled courses and generate progress reports and certificates of completion.
- Support data transfer of course runs, enrolment of participants, and completion status into the government platform to facilitate funding claims.
- Faciliate disbursement of applicable subsidies to learners, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Track status of disbursements from the agencies and ensure proper reconciliation of subsidies received with timely reimbursement to qualified learners. Liaise with learners for the required documentation to support the eligibility of applicable subsidies as required.
Industry initiatives and events support
- Conduct market research, analysis of industry data to support the facilitation of industry development initiatives and members’ prospecting and engagement.
- Perform secretariat duties including minutes taking of assigned IMAS’ committees, support the organizing of IMAS events, and support projects that will have a transformative impact on the investments industry. This provides the candidate the opportunity to interact with senior representatives from over 100 fund houses which are IMAS members.
- Support IMAS internal processes such as curation of targeted mailing lists, tracking of contracts and agreements and data management.
- Project manage the upgrade of the IMAS Conference & Masterclass registration platform by working with the IMAS vendor to update event parameters including ticket pricing and registration choices, and facilitate onboarding of attendees into the system.
- Product manage the IMAS Conference & Masterclass registration platform to ensure smooth registration and providing timely management report on status.
Finance & Other Operations
- Liaise with accounting outsourcer to provide supporting documents and cost accrual information for month end financial close.
- Preparation of monthly financial deck with month-on-month comparatives and analysis
- Support IMAS annual statutory audit and budgeting process as guided by Director
This role is a multi-faceted one which will give the candidate significant exposure to the fund management, banking, accounting, legal and regulatory sectors. It would suit someone who enjoys a wider range of job exposure and who is inquisitive and embraces a good learning mindset.
This role will allow the Analyst to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders as well as with external service providers.
