As CV-19 continues to upend the global economy and the world of investing, buy-side firms are exploring new ways of accelerating innovation and harnessing the power of technology to rethink internal processes and investing approaches to make 2021 a reset for the better.
All towards a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable economy.
This year, IMAS is launching our Digital Accelerator Programme in two tracks. Track One focuses on discovering new approaches to improve and streamline operational processes, better manage data and risks, and create innovative tools to help managers manage their ESG regulatory requirements and reporting amidst fragmented global requirements in the absence of a common global standard. Fintechs with the relevant solutions could apply to be accelerated via https://imasdap.com/2021/.
Shortlisted fintechs would be given the opportunity to be paired with acceleration partners from Blackrock, Nikko Asset Management, Schroders, and members of the IMAS Legal Committee to create solutions unique to the sponsoring asset management firm, or a common utility to be propagated to the rest of the industry.
IMAS will work closely with the fintechs to create opportunities for the showcase of shortlisted solutions with the best fit.
In the meantime, as firms’ operational processes change with the new post-COVID realities, we are creating a second opportunity via Track Two for asset management firms to contribute problem statements which IMAS will then launch a global search for the relevant fintechs to solve.
Firms interested to harness cutting edge technologies should send their problem statements to IMAS now.
