Since its inception, China Securities Investment Fund Forum International has been the most influential and professional forum in Chinese fund industry. With the aim of providing a platform for crucial development issues in Chinese assets management industry, the forum is designed to facilitate academic discussion and international exchanges while publicizing the fund industry.

Organised by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the Forum will be held on December 2, 2011 in Futian Shangri-La hotel in Shenzhen, China. With the theme of “Breakthrough—Transformation from Fund Company into Asset Management Company”, this year’s forum will discuss the breakthrough and institutional innovation of mutual fund companies in scope of business and investment, products and sales platform in the midst of the bottleneck that is confronting Chinese fund industry.

There are three major topics in this forum:
(1) Expansion of fund companies’ business and investment scope;
(2) Development of Indices and Index Investing;
(3) Reconstruction of sales channel for fund industry;
(4) Reading the economic situation at home and aboard; and
(5) Construction of wealth management center in Shenzhen.

The Forum will feature senior management and specialists from domestic and foreign fund management companies; representatives from investment fund associations from home and abroad; partners of Chinese private funds; persons-in-charge of custodian banks, retail banks, securities firms and insurance companies; representatives from government authorities and major financial media, etc.
