16th IMAS Regulatory Roundtable

16th IMAS Regulatory Roundtable

14 Jun 2023

The IMAS Regulatory Committee invites you to the 16th IMAS Regulatory Roundtable that will be taking place on Wednesday, 14 June 2023, 2:15pm to 5:15pm (SGT), where members will get a chance to deepen their understanding on the revised guidelines on Business Continuity Management (BCM) that was released by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in June 2022. Financial Institutions (FI) should meet the new Guidelines and establish a BCM audit plan within 12 months following its issuance and the first BCM audit should be conducted within 24 months of the Guidelines’ issuance.

The guidelines were issued with the objective of encouraging all FIs to take an end-to-end service-centric view in ensuring the continuous delivery of critical business services to its customers. FIs are required to review their BCM approach to develop an effective framework aimed at minimizing the impact of any operational disruptions on the FI’s ability to resume critical services and functions.

We are pleased to have Deloitte & Touche Enterprise Risk Services Pte Ltd’s BCM team led by Lawren Poh and Goh He Lin join us to unpack the BCM guidelines and provide you with an understanding of what the guidelines would mean to your organizations. They will also share insights from their engagements with clients and during the breakout session, walk you through the necessary steps to enhance your familiarity with this topic. Please see our programme brochure to learn more about Lawren and He Lin.
