Singapore has committed to implement the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) beginning 1 January 2017. Following the MOF’s public consultation on CRS in March 2016, the Singapore authorities are currently drafting local guidance expected to be released soon. With the much broader scope of CRS, as compared to FATCA, experts from PWC will discuss the key implementation considerations in preparation for CRS ‘going-live’ in Singapore.
