Interpreting Credit Reports to Assess One’s Financial Soundness under the MAS’ Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria
In accordance to the Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria recently updated by the MAS, all financial institutions are required to reasonably ensure that their employees meet the fit and proper criteria, of which one is financial soundness.
As the Credit Bureau (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“CBS”) hosts full credit data from all retail banks and major financial institutions, its credit data can be translated into a snapshot of one’s credit worthiness, thereby determining one’s financial soundness.
In the Talk, CBS representatives will discuss how to interpret credit data to assess one’s financial soundness, as well as to identify red flags on a credit report. You will also find out how to obtain credit reports for your representatives from the CBS, and have all your queries answered at the Talk.
