IMAS Lunchtime Talk
Series
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Megatrends and Disclosure
As investment
managers know, environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues present risks
to financial performance. A well-functioning practice, one that addresses
fundamental risks from ESG issues, in other words, may be the key difference
between lackluster results and stellar performance.
Aside from
practices, increasing ESG disclosure plays an ever-more important role.
Additional disclosures give investors greater transparency for
performance assessment.
Ms. Jeanne Stampe, Head of Asia Finance and Commodities from World Wildlife Fund, and Ms. Yeo Lian Sim, Special Advisor to Singapore Exchange Limited, are joining up to share their valuable insights on the global ESG trends, the linkage between ESG and financial performance, as well as on the interpretation of ESG disclosure.
