In preparation for the upcoming release of the MAS Guidelines on Individual Accountability and Conduct, IMAS has invited PwC Singapore to provide a preview of how these Guidelines may impact licensed and registered fund managers.
Because the Guidelines remain in consultation, the objective of the session is to provide attendees with an “early look” of what to expect and ideas on planning and preparation. As such, PwC will share their own preliminary views on what the application of these Guidelines may look like for a typical fund manager. This will include a brief discussion on key concepts and definitions contained in the consultation as well as a sharing session to highlight some of the questions and challenges faced by those institutions that have already taken early steps in applying the consultation Guidelines.
As the consultation encompasses roles and responsibilities across an entire business, the presentation will include inputs from PwC Singapore subject matter experts in risk, operations, and compliance for fund managers.
