IMAS is hosting a talk on Attracting & Retaining Talent in the Asset Management Industry – the Role of Pay by Sean Henaghan, CY Foo, Russell Huntington and Tan Toh Sen of Watson Wyatt.

The speakers will outline and discuss trends and issues in global paypractice including:
– Differences in pay practices in Asia/Pacific, Europe and the US
– Recent developments in pay design
– Measuring manager performance especially over the medium term
– Aligning performance and pay

The speakers:
Sean Henaghan, Head of Manager Research and Selection in Australia and chairs Watson Wyatt’s Asian Manager Research Steering Group. Sean advises clients on a range of investment issues including strategy, manager structure and the selection and ongoing monitoring of investment managers.

CY Foo leads the manager research efforts in Singapore and is part of the team responsible for forming Watson Wyatt’s house view on a number of mandates. He has been involved in a wide range of investment projects including setting strategy for clients, selection of investment managers, analysis and review of investment performance.

Russell Huntington, Director, Asia Pacific Data Services, is accountable for the growth and development of Watson Wyatt’s remuneration data services business in fourteen countries of Asia Pacific. He has led Strategic Rewards Consulting in both Asia-Pacific and Europe and chaired the Global Grading System (GGS) management team.

Tan Toh Sen leads Watson Wyatt’s Data Services team in Singapore and manages the compensation and benefit surveys across many industries. He is familiar with  Watson Wyatt’s Global Grading System (GGS) and has led the Top Management Survey since 2003.
